Solano Winds

Music is the thread that connects us all. At Solano Winds we are connected through our love of music and we have FUN while performing together for our community!

As the first and only community concert band in Solano County, we have been sharing high quality wind band repertoire for 30 years. Solano Winds performs our concerts at theaters in Fairfield and Vacaville. We also play in retirement communities, in public libraries and schools, and for special events. Our full band and small ensembles include musicians from high school students to retirees, from military personnel to school teachers.

We give tickets to local public school band students to inspire them to continue playing music. Some of these students even join our band when they reach high school! The Solano Winds Scholarship Fund supports graduating high school students who want to pursue a career in music. Since 2005, Solano Winds has awarded scholarships to 18 students.

You can support the continued musical excellence of Solano Winds by donating through Live Solano, Give Solano on October 1! Your contributions will provide student tickets and scholarships, purchase new music, repair and renew our instruments, and support theater space and instrument transportation for Solano Winds performances in the community.

All donors will be recognized in our concert programs! We also have different giving levels that include vouchers to attend a Solano Winds concert:

Admirer ($150-$249): recognition of gift in program and two concert vouchers
Devotee: ($250-$349): recognition of gift in program and four concert vouchers
Enthusiast ($350-$449): recognition of gift in program and six concert vouchers
Conductor's Circle ($450 & up): recognition of gift in program and eight concert vouchers
Concert Sponsor ($2,000): Special Recognition during concert and in printed materials. Small Ensemble performance at your event.
