South Gallery Update and Improvements

For over fifty years The Vallejo Naval & Historical Museum has provided our city with a gateway to its rich and storied past. With that said, as time moves on, so does the accumulation of that past.  We house over 30,000 artifacts, 1.3 million historic images, and over 8,500 square feet of archives. It is time to share more of our city's past. Our South Gallery needs an update! New lights and display cases to feature more of our collection. 

We want to work with the many communities of Vallejo to provide a space where each group can share the impactful moments of their heritage that has created Vallejo's history.  Your help will allow the museum to create a new space that brings Vallejo together through our shared history. Our goal is to ultimately have each community curate their own piece of the space in a way that presents the narrative of their contribution to Vallejo in their own words.  Your donation will be the cornerstone of this process, providing the ground work for the space that will be the new and improved home for our city's history.
