As you all know, I have been working for Meals on Wheels for 5 years in varying capacities and currently serve as the Development Manager.
I’ve seen firsthand the difference a meal, a friendly visit, and knowing someone is looking out for you can make for a homebound senior. This program served my great-grandparents, and, for a period of time, helped my grandparents.
Right now, nearly 300 seniors in Solano County are waiting for Meals on Wheels services as funding challenges limit how many people we can serve.
For Live Solano Give Solano, I’ve set a personal goal of raising $1,000 to help provide nutritious meals to local seniors and their animals.
Will you help me reach my $1,000 goal?
