🚲 Help Keep the STEAM Wheel Turning for BUSD Students!
For over 12 years, Benicia Unified’s beloved Elementary STEAM Wheel has brought hands-on learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math to every 3rd–5th grader in the district — all during the regular school day.
Students rotate through three 5-week courses covering exciting topics like robotics, coding, visual arts, dance, chess, and more — taught by local professionals and community partners. These experiences spark curiosity, build real-world skills, and support social-emotional growth.
Due to a major funding loss, the program is at risk of disappearing.
We're raising $66,000 to keep the STEAM Wheel rolling next year — covering instructors, materials, and program support.
