The Firefighter Youth Academy is a 9-month program that provides high school-aged youth with an opportunity to explore careers in public safety as a firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician, or paramedic. With the full support of the Fire Departments and the School Districts, youth will learn and be empowered to share life-saving skills, fire prevention information and disaster preparedness knowledge with their family, schools, and community.
