Mission
The Vallejo Project empowers transitional-age youth by providing holistic support in healthcare, housing, employment, and education. Through trauma-informed care and community-based initiatives, we equip young people with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
Vision
Our vision is a future where every young person in Vallejo has access to stable housing, quality education, sustainable employment, and comprehensive healthcare. By fostering resilience, creativity, and leadership, we strive to break the cycle of homelessness and create a thriving, self-sufficient community of young adults who are prepared to succeed.
Programs Offered
The House – A Navigation Center offering transitional housing and case management for TAY experiencing homelessness.
The Garden – An urban agriculture initiative teaching sustainable farming and providing food security for community and families.
The Workshop – Skilled trades and workforce development training, including carpentry and media production for community and families
Afterschool Creative Programs – Courses in filmmaking, sustainable fashion, digital arts, music, and crochet for K-8 students
Healthcare Training & Outreach – Patient intake training for youth, public health workshops, and clinical partnerships for 16-24 TAY
Tutoring & Academic Support – Supplemental education services for K-24 GED, and career readiness.
