The mission of Vallejo Together is to support the health and wellness of people experiencing homelessness in Vallejo.

About Us: Vallejo Together was founded as a volunteer-led and driven effort in 2010, and in 2019, we officially became a nonprofit organization. Through compassionate outreach and essential services, we aim to provide support and resources that center the lived experience of homelessness and foster stability and dignity. Recognizing that transportation can be a significant barrier, we are a mobile organization that meets people where they are — in public spaces throughout Vallejo. Our mobile outreach allows us to directly connect and engage in solidarity with our neighbors without shelter.

About Matters of the Heart: A mobile basic needs program that acts as a traveling resource for people experiencing homelessness in Vallejo and activites are carried out by board members, community partners and volunteers. Each month, we deliver over 1000 nourishing meals to people living in encampments throughout the city. In addition, we provide mail service, resource referrals, transportation, and essential personal items, including clothing, hygiene and first aid kits, and care packages, —all delivered in a holistic approach that fosters stability, dignity, and hope within the community.
