VALLEJO SYMPHONY ASSOCIATION

This is the 94th season we have been producing beautiful music for Vallejo, Solano County and the surrounding areas. We look forward to continuing to present inspiring music for all of you in the years to come, but we need your help to do that. Support us by attending our concerts, volunteering, or donating.

For generations, we have enriched Vallejo and Solano County through our outreach to schools with small groups performing special programs and bringing students to a theatre for special performances of the orchestra. Since Covid, it has been difficult to perform the schools’ concerts, but we hope to start them again next year. Our musicians and soloists are part of the surrounding Bay Area and love to perform for our students. With your support we can continue these programs. Research from the National Music Foundation and the SAT programs show that students participating in music programs score up to 20% higher in language and mathematics tests and increase their SAT score by 15 points. We are committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians and music lovers.  With your support, we can continue building these unique programs and provide inspiring music for all-especially young people-well into the future.

As with many fine arts organizations, ticket sales cover only a small portion of our expenses. We rely on generous donations from supporters like you to ensure that our music continues to inspire and unite Vallejo, Solano County and the Northern California..

As the 4th oldest symphony in California and oldest professional arts organization in Solano County, founded in 1931, we have a proud legacy in our community’s history.
