$25,000 Goal

For more than a century and a half, The Salvation Army has woven itself into the fabric of Solano County, from Fairfield and Vallejo to Vacaville and Suisun City. Anchored by the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Suisun City, the organization delivers emergency assistance—helping over 1600 families per month with our emergency food programs. Our mobile assistance vehicle brings food directly to seniors in Vacaville and Dixon, and local offices in Fairfield and Vallejo provide steady distribution of food and care. During the holidays, initiatives like Angel Tree and Adopt-a-Family brighten lives with meals, toys, and essential supplies, uniting businesses, schools, and faith groups in service to help the community.

Every dollar and donated item fuels critical programs: summer backpack distributions, holiday food drives, scholarship programs, and the “Stuff the Bus” Toy Drive in partnership with Walmart. For those with time to share, volunteering is always welcome, whether at the Kroc Center, in local pantries, or helping prepare and distribute supplies.

Solano County thrives when its people support one another—and The Salvation Army has spent 150 years nurturing that spirit. Whether you donate funds, goods, or your time, your contribution helps local families overcome hardship with dignity and hope. Join the effort, and together we can keep the legacy of compassion strong.
