North Bay Housing Coalition helps simplify the process of finding a home. 

For 25 years, we have helped people living with intellectual/developmental disabilities to thrive. By focusing on all aspects of housing from searching for available units to assisting individuals to retain their housing, from developing and partnering on set-aside units, to owning and managing our own shared housing units, we believe affordable housing is essential to help anyone and everyone live their best life.  We envision that every individual has not just a place to live, but a true home where they can thrive with dignity, independence, and inclusion.

• Room furnishings for new tenants
• Revolving loan funds for tenant deposits and utility payments
• Tenant education program financial guaranty funds for landlords

Adopt-a-House

We only charge 30% of the tenant's income towards rent, making it affordable to live in a safe and secure home.  This does not leave much money beyond the immediate repairs and maintenance, plus other costs such as HOA and insurance, to pay for deferred maintenance.  Your support will help us to create an even more beautiful home setting for our tenants with intellectual/developmental disability.

• Suisun City: 3-bedroom, 2 bath house:  occupied by two tenants and 24/7 staff.  Donations to support interior painting of the entire home and replace windows.
• Fairfield: 2-bedroom, 1-bath condo.  Currently unoccupied as it needs major renovations.
• Fairfield:  3-bedroom, 2-bath condo: occupied by two tenants and children.  Donations to support interior painting and the replacement of window treatments.
