About the Project: Creating a Place for Hope, Help and Healing.  

NAMI Solano County is continuing to diversify our means of funding due to recent changes to grants at the Federal and State.  We are seeking our community’s help in creating a Community space for mental health, healing, and connection.  This center will be more than just walls and rooms. It will be a safe, welcoming space where people can:

• Join peer support groups and recovery programs

• Take part in wellness activities that nurture both mind and body

• Access resources, education, and guidance for mental health

• Find belonging, encouragement, and hope in community

We believe that recovery happens when people come together, and this home will open its doors to anyone seeking support, understanding, or simply a place to be seen and heard.  

Our Vision

Imagine walking through the front door of this space. You are greeted with warmth and acceptance. A cozy living-room space invites conversation, laughter, and peer support. A wellness room offers a place to recharge and find balance. The kitchen fills with the aroma of shared meals, where strangers can become friends. Every room carries a sense of possibility — a place for healing, learning, and connection. The walls will hold not only artwork and activities, but also the resilience and stories of those who walk through its doors.

This community space will stand as a symbol of hope in Solano County — a place where people come together to break stigma, share strength, and remind one another that no one is ever alone on their journey.  Our vision is simple yet powerful: to create a home for hope, healing, and community.
