HELP US FILL THE BARN & KEEP THE BAYBEES DRY! 🐐❤️

Winter is coming, and we’re working to fill our barn with hay and bedding for the more than 200 rescued animals who call Funky Chicken Rescue home. Having these supplies ready means full bellies and fresh, cozy places to rest through the cold, rainy months.

We also need a new enclosure with a sturdy shelter to keep our precious triplet goats—Baylee, Baysil, and Lil’ Bay—dry and protected from wind and rain. We lovingly call them the “Baybees,” and their story is one we will always hold close to our hearts.

Their mama, Bay, came to us paralyzed and pregnant. Her situation was so serious that veterinarians at UC Davis warned we might have to choose between saving Bay and saving her babies. It was heartbreaking to even imagine.

Thankfully, all four survived. ❤️ Bay’s triplets were born in our care, and our wonderful volunteers helped bottle-feed them because their mama couldn’t safely care for them herself. While Bay received rest, physical therapy, and support from a wheelchair, her little ones grew surrounded by love. Today, Bay and her babies all have a forever home here at the sanctuary.

Now we want to give the Baybees a sturdy, dry shelter where they can curl up together when the winter storms arrive.

Your donation will help us:
❤️ Stock the barn with winter hay.
❤️ Provide fresh bedding for our rescued animals.
❤️ Create a sheltered enclosure for Baylee, Baysil, and Lil’ Bay.

Funky Chicken Rescue is entirely volunteer-run, with no paid employees. Your generosity helps us provide the food, shelter, and care these animals depend on every day.

Please consider donating to our Live Solano, Give Solano campaign and sharing our fundraiser. Every gift helps us get ready for winter, and every share helps us reach someone who might be able to give.

Thank you for helping us keep their bellies full, their beds cozy, and their forever home safe. We couldn’t do this without you. ❤️
