GIVE TODAY. Your Support Makes This Possible:

245: Middle-school youth reached

37: Peer-led activities

46: Youth supported through mentorship

156: Youth civic-leadership engagements

And youth are creating media, developing digital skills, strengthening school connections, and learning how to lead in their communities.

YOUTH DON'T JUST PARTICIPATE. THEY CREATE.

Club Stride gives young people opportunities to develop their voices, build real-world skills, create media and take active roles in their schools and communities.

It started with one small step.

In 1997, a mother and daughter began handing out flyers in their Vallejo community. Sixteen girls came to that first meeting. That gathering became Club Stride.

Nearly three decades later, Club Stride continues to work alongside young people throughout Solano County, creating spaces where YOUTH KNOW THEY MATTER.

Across generations, young people have found opportunities to connect, discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships, develop real-world skills, express themselves creatively, find their voice, and lead in their communities.

16 girls were just the beginning.

Today, a new generation is finding their voice, building their skills, and discovering their power to lead.

Your gift helps us continue creating those opportunities.

FROM FINDING THEIR VOICE TO LEADING WHAT’S NEXT

Media and broadcasting can be a starting point. From there, Club Stride youth can step into civic engagement, paid internships, specialized training, and leadership opportunities—building skills, confidence, and experience they can carry into school, work, and their communities.

“This is the first time I felt like someone listened to me and believed I could lead something important.” — 7th-grade student

“Through their structured programming, mentorship, and community engagement, Club Stride empowers youth to grow as confident                    leaders both in school and beyond.”  — Dr. Christi Glasco, Ed.D., Principal, Mare Island Health and Fitness Academy
