Raven’s journey is just one of hundreds. Every year, young people across Solano County, walk through our doors carrying untold stories, untapped leadership, and unrecognized potential. Too often, they also carry the weight of barriers in school and community life that can hold them back. At Club Stride, we make sure those barriers don’t define their future.

At Club Stride, we believe today’s youth are more than the leaders of tomorrow—they are Generation Impact: young people who are healing, building skills, and leading change right now.

For more than 20 years, Club Stride has provided a circle of support for local youth. This year, your donation during Live Solano, Give Solano directly fuels one of our most exciting initiatives: the Middle School Media & Radio Broadcast Program.

Picture this: A 12-year-old student steps nervously up to the microphone. At first, her voice shakes. But with encouragement, mentorship, and practice, she begins to shine. By semester’s end, she’s confidently interviewing peers about school safety, hosting broadcasts about mental health, and producing polished radio segments that air on youth-led platforms.

Behind the mic, in front of the camera, and in the editing suite, these students are not just learning technical skills. They are stepping into their role as part of Generation Impact—a movement of youth who use digital literacy, media, and advocacy to shape their schools, their neighborhoods, and their futures.

And here’s the best part: Thanks to our Matching Club, every dollar you give today is doubled. Your $50 gift becomes $100. Your $250 gift becomes $500. That means more students broadcasting, more mentorship hours, more equipment in classrooms, and more young leaders rising.

The media and broadcast program is just the beginning. Once students discover their voice, they enter the next stages of our continuum. They join youth-led civic engagement campaigns. They take on paid internships that help them build resumes and college applications. They participate in specialized training programs like our Digital Marketing Bootcamp (valued at $2,000 but offered to students free of charge). They become leaders who influence policy, strengthen neighborhoods, and bring fresh ideas to Solano County. All while gaining marketable skills for their own future.
