$2,500 Goal

Every year, thousands of people return home from incarceration determined to build a better future. Yet finding a job, earning income, and meeting basic needs can feel out of reach in the critical days and weeks after release.

The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) provides immediate, effective, and comprehensive employment services exclusively to people recently released from incarceration. Our mission is rooted in the belief that access to work can help people build stable, productive lives while strengthening families and communities. Through immediate paid employment, skills training, job placement services, and ongoing career support, CEO helps justice-impacted job seekers achieve long-term economic mobility and remain connected to the workforce.

In Solano County, CEO connects individuals returning from incarceration with the support, work experience, and employment opportunities they need to successfully reenter the workforce. By providing immediate access to paid work and personalized career services, CEO Solano helps participants build stability, strengthen their connection to the labor force, and create a path toward long-term success for themselves and their families.

After completing a brief paid orientation, participants are guaranteed access to paid transitional employment on CEO work crews for up to four days each week. Participants earn daily pay while gaining valuable work experience, developing workplace skills, and rebuilding employment histories at a time when income and stability matter most.

But employment is only the beginning. Participants work one-on-one with Job Coaches and Job Developers who help them address barriers, strengthen résumés, prepare for interviews, and secure full-time employment. Once placed in a job, participants continue receiving support for a full year to help them stay employed, advance in their careers, and remain connected to the workforce.

CEO's vision is that anyone with a recent criminal history who wants to work has the preparation and support needed to find a job and stay connected to the labor force. Your gift helps create pathways to employment, stability, and opportunity for people working to support themselves, strengthen their families, and contribute to their communities.
