Center for Urban Exellence

At the Center for Urban Excellence (CUE), we empower system-involved youth by fostering resilience and wellness through holistic educational, economic, social, and artistic opportunities. We believe in the potential of every youth and are dedicated to unlocking it, preparing them for success in a rapidly changing world.

Artistic and social emotional expression is central to our approach, enhancing creativity and social emotional intelligence. Our Fostering Resilience framework equips youth and their families with strategies to overcome adversity, while our youth leadership development program nurtures future community leaders. We also offer comprehensive college and career readiness programs and promote critical thinking through media literacy education.

Since 2016, we have supported over 560 individuals in Solano and Contra Costa Counties, plus the Greater Bay Area, helping them build self-confidence, improve academic performance, and develop a positive outlook on their futures.
