Benicians Adopting Benicia (BAB) is a community-driven organization that unites residents, businesses, and volunteers to create a network of support, pride, and collaboration. Together, we take on meaningful projects that strengthen connections, foster a sense of belonging, and ensure our community remains welcoming and vibrant for all.

Our mission comes to life through hands-on, volunteer-led beautification efforts that keep our parks, public spaces, and local landmarks clean, inviting, and well-maintained. Each project reflects our shared dedication to preserving Benicia’s charm and making it one of the most picturesque places to live, work, and visit.

At BAB, our focus is on our 5 Pillars of work: 

Community Collaboration and Partnership: 

Uniting volunteers, residents, and business to create a network of community support, belonging and fundraising.

Championing Youth:

Mentoring youth through volunteering and service clubs within our community

Beauitification:

Projects that keep parks, public spaces, and landmarks clean and inviting for our community

Recognizing our military members, first responders, and Leaders who dedicate their lives to serve and protect.

History and Tourism:

Sharing Benicia's history, waterfront, and charm with every visitor who passes through w3hile increasing city tourism.
