Benicia Makerspace

Benicia Makerspace is a place where people come together to learn, collaborate, invent, prototype and test new ideas using state of the art equipment. We are a IRS tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, incorporated in California as a Non-Profit Corporation.  Our mission is to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) education through hands-on activities and exhibits.  We produce an annual STEAM Discovery Festival and rely on grants and sponsorships to provide free admission to the public.  Please visit steamdiscoveryfestival.com/exhibits to see some of the activities we provide.  The Festival is held at the Solano Community College to expose high school students to the college campus in their back yard.  We have a diverse portfolio of hands-on activities and displays to engage youthful curiosity and promote STEAM interest in all ages.
