Benicia Makerspace

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics, the Benicia Makerspace supports STEAM education and hands-on learning. Although schools are applying more effort toward STEAM education many students are tactile learners, they need to see, touch, and experience to be engaged and learn.   Our annual STEAM Discovery Festival is a one-day event held at the Solano Community College in Fairfield CA.  Our festival has a diverse assortment of displays, activities, construction projects across all STEAM topics and for all ages (toddler to senior).  The festival is a family friendly event that is free to attend. We rely on grants and sponsorships to provide free admission to the public.  Please visit steamdiscoveryfestival.com/exhibits to see prior examples of the activities we provide.

Thank you for your funding consideration.
