The Museum of History Benicia is the repository for documents, artifacts, books, and research materials concerning the history of Benicia and California. It operates four galleries in five buildings at two locations in Benicia. There is an active educational program for children and adults, an artifact conservation program, lectures, tours, and scholarly research.

The museum is seeking funds for the following programs:

1. Restoring the hard wood floors in Stone Hall.

2. Buying a book scanner.

3. Repairing and reinforcing the sheds behind the office (where we keep supplies).

4. Building or modifying a structure in the arsenal that could house the fire engines for when the city takes back the Fire Museum buildings.

Rather than providing a flashy advertising campaign, we invite interested parties to visit our facility for a complete tour.  Contact Jim at agbook@lessenger.net
