Arteritano Foundation

The Arteritano Foundation is a Vacaville-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting, preserving, and celebrating Hispanic arts and culture through education, performance, and community programming.

We are fundraising for Casa de Arte — a permanent cultural home for Hispanic arts and culture in downtown Vacaville, where flamenco is taught, traditional artisan practices are preserved, and the community gathers to celebrate the rich cultural heritage that has always been part of this city's story.

Our programs include the Arteritano Flamenco Company, California's only EFA-accredited flamenco training program; Raíces, a school residency program currently serving students at Markham Elementary; Carmen, our annual flamenco ballet presented at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre during Hispanic Heritage Month; Tertulias, monthly cultural gatherings bringing neighbors together over food, music, and shared stories; and Entretejidas, a cultural exchange program connecting our community with traditional artisan practices from Latin America and beyond.

We believe that culture is not a luxury — it is how communities know who they are. Hispanic arts and culture have deep roots in Vacaville, and we are here to make sure those roots grow stronger. Every donation supports our programs, brings more students into cultural arts education, funds free matinee performances for local Vacaville schools, provides scholarships for youth, and helps us build and sustain Casa de Arte as a permanent home for this community.
