Located in Fairfield, Gone For Good is a social enterprise of United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay (UCPNB). The program provides meaningful employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities through recycling, secure document destruction, thrift store processing, and community-based work crews. Participants gain valuable job skills, earn wages, build confidence, and develop greater independence while contributing to their local community. Gone For Good is built on the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to work, contribute, and be part of their community.
Gone For Good is more than a place to work—it is a place to discover purpose, build confidence, develop friendships, and create a future.
Erick’s Story
Erick has been part of Gone For Good since 2016, and he looks forward to going to work every day. Through the program, he has developed valuable work and social skills, built friendships with coworkers, and enjoyed countless community and recreational activities. One of his favorite experiences is the Adult Camp Retreat, where he was honored as Camper of the Year.
Today, Erick takes pride in his work delivering bulk mailers to Bay Area postal hubs and is always excited to share his accomplishments with his family. His parents have watched him grow into a confident and thriving young man and are deeply grateful for the patience, dedication, and support of the Gone For Good staff.
“We look forward to his continued growth and what the future brings.”
— Renee & Ron Silva, Gone For Good Family
Help Us Create Jobs Through Our Vending Machine
We are raising funds to purchase a vending machine for our program that will create a meaningful employment opportunity for adults with disabilities. Participants will gain hands-on experience budgeting and purchasing, managing inventory, stocking products, maintaining the machine, and developing valuable job skills.
Our goal is to also offer healthier snack and drink options, giving our community convenient choices while supporting an inclusive employment opportunity.
Your donation can help turn a simple vending machine into a pathway to confidence, independence, and meaningful work.
