Friends of the Dixon Public Library

We need your help! Donations to the Friends of the Dixon Public Library help us to support the Dixon Library and the local Dixon community.  Besides helping the Library fund its programs, "The Friends" also uses funds to enrich the local community.  For example, "The Friends" recently awarded two $1,000 scholarships to college-bound Dixon High School Seniors.  We have two "book give aways" each year: one at Halloween and one at Christmas time during the annual tree lighting.  At both of these events, kids receive a free book from "The Friends."

The Library provides a safe and welcoming place for people of all ages through its programs such as:

• the Summer Reading Program
• Back to School Festival
• Book Club
• Family story time and family nights
• Activities for kids: read to a dog, story time, bilingual story time, Baby Bounce story time, Halloween and Christmas crafts and activities
• Activities for teens: Nintendo Switch gaming, holiday crafts and activities, kids homework help
• Activities for adults: drop-in financial advising, drop-in senior tech help, book club, UC Master gardeners help and tips for gardeners

Without the donations the Friends of the Dixon Public Library receives, the Library would not be able to provide these wonderful programs.

Please give what you can to help us continue this support!
