Developing, Organizing, Visions for Everyone (D.O.V.E.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering justice-impacted individuals, strengthening families, and building safer, healthier communities through opportunity, support, and advocacy.

Founded in 2018 by Cameron, a former juvenile lifer, D.O.V.E. was born from a powerful story of transformation. As a child, Cameron was recruited into a gang at just ten years old and was given the nickname "Dove." After years of incarceration resulting from gang involvement, he made a commitment to reclaim that name—not as a symbol of violence, but as one of hope, healing, and purpose. He transformed what was once a curse into a blessing by creating Developing, Organizing, Visions for Everyone (D.O.V.E.).

Driven by a desire to give back to the communities he once harmed, Cameron founded D.O.V.E. to ensure that others facing similar challenges would have access to opportunities he never had. What began as a safe haven for individuals impacted by the criminal legal system has grown into a comprehensive organization providing prevention, reentry, workforce development, mentorship, advocacy, and community-based support.

Today, D.O.V.E. works to prevent incarceration by investing in people before they enter the system while also helping individuals successfully rebuild their lives after release. As a proud second-chance employer, D.O.V.E. recognizes that lived experience is a powerful form of expertise. The organization values both life experience and education, creating pathways for individuals to become leaders, mentors, and changemakers in their own communities.
